| In-House Training on SCRUMs |
A 3-day In-house training session was conducted from 13-15 Oct on “SCRUMs- an Effective Project Management Approach” by Muhammad Imran, PSM / CRM. The main purpose of the training was to make different teams across ARPATECH to effectively and efficiently handle the projects using SCRUMs/Agile method. SCRUM emphasizes on team work, making timelines agreeable to the whole team and keeping the client updated at each level within a project.
The training was based upon numerous exercises/workshops; activities included blowing up balloons with given diameters, making paper airplanes subject to a successful flight test of 3 meters, various Math/Accounting calculations, making ornaments from paper clips etc.
Tasks had strict time limits and teams across the company from Developers to Business Operation Engineers to Network Security People were all actively involved in completing max tasks which built a sense of competition, team work, time management and resource management. The open discussion environment truly enhanced the reasoning and justifying capabilities of team leads while defending their team mates’ work.
The training was participative, competitive and fun! At the end of training session, certificates were awarded to the participants.
