Job Responsibilities
- Ensure that the networking system runs efficiently without interruption
- Ensure effective stakeholder management for internal and external stakeholders to maintain progress tracking
- Ensure compliance with existing SOPs and engineer new processes for continuous improvements
- Work with virtualization technologies i.e. VMWare, Citrix, and Hyper-V
- Set up and administer Active Directories and Server roles
- Setup and maintain Google Workspace, Exchange, IIS, SharePoint, Print Servers, and SQL
- Ensure the efficient operation of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment
- Design, implement, and maintain networking systems to support company operations
- Implement network policies and procedures to optimize performance and security
- Collaborate in the planning and execution of network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
- Manage system backups and network security protocols
- Manage and coordinate with the NOC team
- Ensure KPIs development, performance analysis, and management reporting
- Make budget and purchasing recommendations and capacity planning to provide a steady, cost-effective infrastructure
- Implement Security controls as per ISO and PCI compliance, and HIPAA compliance in networked solutions
Job Specification
- Experience with Windows and Linux servers, Virtual Infrastructure, VMware, Cloud PBX, BR & DR planning and management, Configuration of Switches, Routers, Cpanel Hosting, CCTV, Open VPN, Vendor & ISP management, Veeam Backup management, Load Balancer, Firewalls, and Managed cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environment and a good concept of virtualization & cloud computing.
- Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies and other network equipment (Cisco, Fortinet)
- Thorough understanding of IP Networks, Anti-Malware, and Cybersecurity concepts, Web Server(s) concepts, and administration, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Clustering, and Load Balancing
- Strong understanding of Amazon, Azure, and GCP Web Services Virtual and Cloud environments.
- Proficiency with Jira, Gmail Suite management, and ticketing system
- Supervisory skills, team-building skills, problem-solving skills, effective verbal and listening skills, and effective written communication skills
