Cloud Engineer/Implementation Engineer

Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Azure Cloud Support Engineer to provide
first-line technical support and operational assistance for Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, troubleshooting cloud
infrastructure, and supporting containerised applications. This role requires strong analytical,
communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver timely resolutions to customer technical
issues.
Role & Responsibilities:
● Provide first-line technical support for customer queries related to Microsoft Azure services.
● Respond to customer incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution or
escalation.
● Monitor, manage, and support customer environments hosted on Microsoft Azure.
● Assist with Azure cloud migrations and support basic cloud infrastructure services.
● Troubleshoot Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage
Accounts, Networking, and Resource Groups.
● Support containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Linux and Windows
environments.
● Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and
other monitoring tools.
● Perform basic automation tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates.
● Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
● Document troubleshooting procedures, knowledge base articles, and customer resolutions.
● Ensure adherence to operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
Required skills & qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● 1–3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
● Good understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
● Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Storage Accounts, Resource
Groups, Azure Monitor, Application Insights & Azure Virtual Machines.
● Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
● Familiarity with Linux and Windows administration.
● Basic scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI.
● Understanding of cloud monitoring, application performance monitoring, and operational
dashboards.
● Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices
● Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or Azure Cosmos DB is an advantage.
● Experience with infrastructure automation tools (ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform) is a
plus.
● Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) – Mandatory
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) – Preferred
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) – Preferred
Timings: 5 PM – 2 AM
